NO OPINION ON THE FOOD BECAUSE I DID NOT EAT (WAS JUST PASSING THROUGH AND STOPPED TO USE THE RESTROOM), BUT I WILL DEFINITELY SAY THAT THE RESTAURANT IS KEPT VERY CLEAN, ESPECIALLY THE RESTROOMS. I THOUGHT MY NOSTRIL HAIR WAS GOING TO FALL OUT FROM THE CHEMICAL CLEANER...AND I'M OKAY WITH THAT! IF I EVER MAKE IT BACK DOWN THIS WAY AND STOP TO EAT I WILL ADJUST MY REVIEW ACCORDINGLY.
Really nice people. Food was good and fresh. Coleslaw is really good. Fried chicken and baked chicken, gizzards, livers, chicken mixed with tomatoes, pepper, and olives. Instant mash with milk gravy. Green beans corn small salad baked beans pinto beans collards jello apple cobbler soft serve. Coffee, iced tea, fountain drinks. $21 for 2 people.
Being a long haul driver, I eat at many different places across the 48. With that being said, the coleslaw is fantastic! Fried chicken was well seasoned along with the collards and those aren't easy to get right. The bread pudding was exceptional but a little on the sweet side (maybe cuz I had ice cream with it)
Good place to eat! And nice people who run it.And good home cooking, you can't find out on the road being a truck driver. 5 STARS

Definitely a nice change from truck stop food! Price was great for the buffet and the food itself was very good!!!! Plus... it's right across from the loves truck stop. I will definitely be coming back here to eat whenever I'm this way again!
